Our Pastor, Robin Raudabaugh is an ordained minister
in the United Church of Christ (UCC). She is a
teacher, a sustainable farmer, and an artisan bread
baker.
Robin was called to Pilgrims UCC in November of
2006. She and has been phrophetic leader at
Pilgrims, encoraging our congregation to explore what
it means to be an Opening and Affirming, Just Peace
and Earthwise church.
Pastor Robin
In 2009 Pastor Robin and 2
members of Pilgrims
Congregation traveled to
Guatamala and Hondurus
with Church World Service.
They traveled to several
villages to observe the
sustainable argiculture
project supported by the
United Church of Christ
through Chruch World
Service.
Robin and her partner Gigi (also our Music
Director -see below) own and operate an
organic Community Supported Agriculture
farm called the Nitty Gritty Dirt Farm, located
in Harris, Minnesota. They raise fruits,
vegetables, lambs, goats, chickens and pigs.
They hire interns intersted in learning the in's
and outs of organic sustainable agriculture
Robin belives that being a bi-vocational
pastors give her a difference perspective on
life and the church and allows her to
intergrate the two most important parts of
her life, her love of God and her love of the
farm. She believes she is truly called to be a
"farmer-minister, not a farmer or minister."
