What should I expect when I attend worship at Pilgrims?
Worship at Pilgrims is fairly informal usually a group of
between 20 and 60 people of all ages, most of us dress
casually, appropriate for the season; shorts in the summer,
jeans and sweatshirts in the winter.
Worship at Pilgrims is never routine. One Sunday a month is
an intergenerational worship with children participating in the
service with adults.

What type of music will I hear at Pilgrims?
Music at Pilgrims is as varied as our worship serivces. Our Music Director, Gigi
Nauer, plays many instrument including the piano and Guitar. We use the New
Century Hymnal and Sing!: Prayer and Paise (United Church of Christ) for much
of our music but many of the pieces we sing come from a wide variety of other
sources. The music is always beautiful with the words sometimes adjusted to
ensure gender neutral language.
Pilgrims also has a drum circle that occasionally provides music for Sunday
worship.
Does Pilgrims have a choir that sings during Worship Services?
Of course we do...Pilgrims choir sings during worship from approximately
Mid-September through Mid-May. We are typically a group of 6-10 people of
varying musical abilities. Anyone can sing with the Choir, all you need is to
enjoy singing. Our rehearsals are Wednesday nights from 7:15-8:15 and at 9:15
Sunday mornings to rehearse prior to worship.
Does Pilgrims offer Communion? Do I have to be a member to take Communion.
At Pilgrims we celebrate Communion on the first Sunday of every month. We
believe that Jesus invited all to partake of the Holy Meal, therefore Pilgrims
practices open communion. All are welcome at GOD'S table.
